    langwitchHelena Butterfield is a Head of Modern Foreign Languages from Stockton-on-Tees in the Northeast of England.  She teaches French and German to Yrs 7-11 at a Roman Catholic School in Billingham, Stockon and  also has taught Spanish in local Primary Schools in Yrs 4-6 and at KS3-4.  She is passionate about motivating her pupils through creative use of ICT and through work with other pupils around the world.

    As well as teaching full-time, Helena is an eTwinning Ambassador, promoting eTwinning around the local area and delivering training on how to develop successful eTwinning Projects and a Links into Languages trainer,  leading PD training sessions in the local area on using ICT and Web-based tools in Language teaching and international collaboration.

    Helena is also a keen singer and is working towards taking her ABRSM Diploma sometime in the distant future.
